Kaira Looro Architecture Competition 2027: Health Center

Run as a non-profit event by the humanitarian organization Balouo Salo, the Kaira Looro competition asks teams to design a real-world facility for rural Africa. The 2027 brief is a roughly 700 m² health center in southern Senegal that responds to the local climate, respects the community's cultural identity and brings primary care to the area. Teams of one to five may enter, all members must be 18 or older and at least one must be 35 or younger. Registration runs from 8 January to 26 May 2027, projects are due on 6 June 2027, and winners are announced on 6 July 2027.
