New York High Falls Riverfront Market

Presented by Buildner in partnership with AIA Rochester as part of its Designers Unleashed initiative, together with Community Design Rochester and Future Reality Services, this competition asks entrants to design a contemporary riverfront market and surrounding public space at the Smokestack Portal site, a future gateway into Rochester's High Falls State Park along the Genesee River gorge. The competition is open to architects, designers, and creative thinkers of any background, with dedicated Student and Sustainability Awards alongside the main placings.
