The Rome Design Awards is run by International Awards Associate (IAA), the organizer behind the MUSE, London and NY Product Design Awards. Season 2 of the 2026 program accepts work in Architectural Design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, Lighting Design, Packaging Design and Student Design, from designers, architects, studios, companies and students worldwide. Work must have been created after 1 January 2022. Entries are judged blind by an international panel and scored into Platinum, Gold and Silver levels, with a Design of the Year title for the highest-scoring entry per discipline. Season 2 winners are announced on 11 December 2026.

Entry fee

$30 administrative fee per entrant plus $209 to $249 per professional first entry depending on submission period ($149 to $189 per additional category); student entries $60 to $90 first entry ($50 to $80 additional)

Award / prize

No cash prize: Design of the Year winners receive a complimentary Rome Design Awards statuette and certificate; Platinum, Gold and Silver winners receive a certificate, gallery listing, press release template and winner logos, with Platinum/Gold also featured on social media.

Fully online submission: a synopsis of roughly 350 words, flattened JPEG/JPG images (under 4MB, 1,200px wide preferred, 300dpi, RGB), and optional video via a Vimeo, YouTube or Youku URL
