Organized by Buildner (formerly Bee Breeders), an established architecture-competition platform, the Unbuilt Award recognizes conceptual and unrealized architecture, interior, landscape, and furniture projects. Entrants compete in three categories by area: Small Wonders (up to 100 m²), Medium Marvels (101 to 999 m²) and Large Visions (over 1,000 m²), each with a €10,000 top prize, alongside honourable mentions, dedicated student prizes and a best-presentation award, for a combined €50,000 prize fund. The competition is open to anyone regardless of professional qualification, entering individually or in teams of up to four. Registration closes on 15 September 2027, projects are submitted by 18 October 2027, and winners are announced on 7 December 2027.
