Young Ones 2027 Student Awards
The One Club for Creativity — United States
Young Ones is the student awards program of The One Club for Creativity, the New York organization behind the ADC Annual Awards, The One Show and the Type Directors Club. The 2027 edition, which launched on 22 September 2026, runs four student competitions: Young Ones ADC (the same disciplines and categories as the ADC Annual Awards, with an ADC Cube at stake), Young Ones One Show (client briefs competing for a One Show Pencil), Young Ones TDC (typography) and a Portfolio competition, plus two special awards, the Client Pitch Competition and the Ari Weiss Award. Entrants must be 18 or older and enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or portfolio program; recent graduates who finished after 18 March 2026 are also eligible, provided they have less than two years of professional experience. Winners are announced in the Young Ones archive and at the Young Ones Ceremony on 17 May 2027.

Tiered by deadline: US$45 (Early, 11 December 2026), US$55 (Standard, 12 March 2027), US$65 (Final, 19 March 2027), and US$75 for late submissions after 19 March
Award / prize
No cash prize stated: Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in the ADC, One Show, TDC and Portfolio competitions receive one physical award engraved with their school's name; finalists are featured in the Young Ones archive and receive a free one-year One Club membership, and Merit finalists receive a digital certificate. TDC winners may also be included in the TDC exhibition and annual.
Submission format
Digital entries only: images at 2,400 to 4,800 pixels on the longest side (JPEG/PNG, max 5 MB), video preferably 1920x1080 (MP4/MOV, max 200 MB), audio as MP3 (max 200 MB), and PDFs with high-resolution compression and no printer marks
