Tokyo TDC 2027 Annual Awards

Tokyo TDC is one of the most respected typography and graphic design competitions internationally, evaluating work across multiple categories including typography, logotypes, packaging, and moving type. Entrants need not be professional type directors—applicants just need to have served as the type director on the submitted work—and a discounted student rate is available. Prize winners are notified in early December 2026, with results published online in mid-December 2026; the formal award ceremony (where prize money and diplomas are presented) and the accompanying exhibition run May 27 – July 8, 2027 at Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo.
