Red Dot Award: Product Design 2027

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world, run by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. Registration for the 2027 edition opens 14 September 2026 and runs through the late submission deadline of 15 January 2027, in early bird, standard, and late-submission phases with increasing fees. The award is open to manufacturers and designers worldwide whose products are made using an industrial production process and launched on the market between 1 January 2025 and 1 July 2027. Entrants register and submit via the My Red Dot online portal, with a separate registration required for each entry. Winners are notified by email at the beginning of April 2027, and the Red Dot: Best of the Best trophies are awarded at a gala evening at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany, on 13 July 2027.
