Museum of Emotions is an annual Buildner ideas competition that treats architecture as a tool for creating emotional states. Entrants design a museum with two separate halls, one evoking a negative emotion and one a positive emotion of their choice, using scale, circulation, colour, light and material. Site and size are free, real or imaginary. Edition #9 is part of Buildner's silent competition series: proposals must be communicated without any text, through visuals alone. The competition is open to all, with no professional qualification required, individually or in teams of up to four. Registration closes on 21 January 2027, projects are due on 22 February 2027, and winners are announced on 13 April 2027.
