The French Design Awards is run by International Awards Associate (IAA), the organization behind the MUSE Design Awards and London Design Awards. The 2027 edition accepts work from designers, studios, brands and students worldwide across nine categories: interior, architectural, product, packaging, conceptual, landscape, fashion, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Entries are accepted in four tiers (Early Bird 22 October 2026, Regular 26 November 2026, Final 24 December 2026 and a Final Extension on 21 January 2027), and all 2027 winners are announced on 8 March 2027. The top Design of the Year honorees receive the Maia statuette.

Entry fee
$30 annual administrative fee per entrant plus a per-category entry fee tiered by submission period (the official FAQ lists $229 for a first entry; the launch press release cites $219 regular); each additional category for the same work is charged separately
Award / prize
No cash prize: Design of the Year winners receive a complimentary Maia trophy and certificate; Platinum/Gold/Silver winners receive a certificate, with top tiers featured in the online gallery and on social media. Additional statuettes are available for purchase.

Submission format
Fully online submission: an entry brief of roughly 350 words, JPEG/JPG images (under 4MB, around 1,200px wide, 300dpi, RGB), with video or audio submitted as a Vimeo/YouTube/Youku URL. No limit on the number of entries.
