Design Preis Schweiz (Design Prize Switzerland) is a biennial, juried competition open to Swiss-based designers, companies, and institutions, as well as foreign designers who work, study, or are employed by a Swiss company. Entries are judged on innovation and social relevance, functionality and sustainability, design and execution quality, and communication, across seven categories: Circular Design, Food Design, Furniture Design, Inclusive Design, Interior Design, Product Design, and Young Professionals. The most recent (25th) edition's award ceremony took place in November 2025; the organizer's own site confirms the next edition will be announced in spring 2027, though specific dates and fees have not yet been published.

Entry fee

CHF 360 regular, CHF 90 for entrants within 3 years of graduation, in the most recent (2025) cycle; the fee for the next cycle has not yet been published

Award / prize

CHF 1,000 to CHF 10,000 per category, awarded to winners only, across seven categories (Circular, Food, Furniture, Inclusive, and Interior Design, Product Design, and Young Professionals); nominees and winners also receive press and marketing promotion
